8. WHY HINDU GODS WEAR ‘MUKUT’ (CROWN)?

I have done some research, still doing that, to know more about Indian culture. Indian culture (not religion, religion is human made) is older that we think.

I hope some of us know about Chakras in our body. I have read that copper, gold, magnesium, chromium, and other metals absorb energy and then radiates them (Read - Concept of temples). That is why deities in temples or in our homes are made in brass or copper, bells in temples also made of these. So, I think wearing those metals somehow affected their Chakras for the better. For instance, Mukut (crown) for crown chakra. I am just assuming according to my research. Another example is Magneto, a character in X-Men movie series. Their concept is based on Indian Gods and Mythology.

I was reading an answer here and someone answered that because the people from that draw them that way that why god looks like that to us. And someone from our generation would have painted them; we might have seen them in jeans and shirts. Well, I thought that too first but that's really not true. Our ancestors had no technology, clearly but they were no idiots. They draw what they see.

As i was reading about brahma’s life cycle i came to realize that he is from higher dimension than us. May be 6th or maybe more. Some years before, i used to imagine how do they look, these higher dimension people, you know. But now i am thinking they looked exactly like our gods, specially brahma. Multiple heads and hands. In my opinion, Brahma, Vishnu and shiva are the main being from the upper dimension. Rest gods or demigods were human made, some of them avtaar maybe, and some of them just kids stories.

Everything we saw and read in our culture was there for some reason. Yes, as time passed, people changed them according to their own needs, and that is why some of it became superstitions. For example, from vedas, first came brahmanas because some rishis could not get it so they altered some rules which called brahmans. Second thought came from vedas, upanishads. When rishis were not able to get it work, people got disappointed and they chose something else ie. philosophy, spirituality and meditation kind of thing. And those recorded texts became upanishads.

So, everything was there for a reason. So their jewelry is like Crown. To understand these things, you need to keep an open mind and always try to find answers. I don’t believe in god because the concept of god is insane. But I do believe in our culture. Culture and religion are two diff things, for me at least.
